The Battmans Heavy Duty Roof Thermal Blanket is made from Knauf Earthwool. It insulates and quiets spaces under metal roofs. It feels soft yet includes tough anti-condensation foil. This boosts warmth and saves energy. It also quiets noise, making indoor spaces more comfortable all year.
The blanket is green. It uses 80% recycled glass and ECOSE® Technology. This tech is safe and sustainable, making the blanket easy to handle. You can get it in various sizes and thicknesses, from R1.3 to R3.2 and 55mm to 130mm. Each pack comes in a dust and moisture-resistant bag. Clear instructions help installers use it right.
Extensive testing shows Earthwool made using ECOSE Technology does not provide a medium for the growth of micro-organisms nor does it rot, decay or sustain mould. Independent testing also confirms no attraction of vermin, fungi or insects, including black ants.
What the Earthwool roofing thermal blanket is for
This is a foil-faced roofing blanket built for the underside of metal roofs. You may also know it as an earthwool space blanket, a knauf roof blanket or simply a roofing blanket. The glasswool core slows heat moving through the roof sheet, while the tough foil facing works as an anti-condensation layer so moisture does not drip back onto the structure below. The result is a roof space that stays warmer in winter, cooler in summer and quieter through rain and wind.

How to choose your R-value
The blanket comes in six R-values: R1.3, R1.8, R2.3, R2.5, R3.0 and R3.2. A lower R-value such as R1.3 suits a shed or garage where you want to cut heat and drumming noise without much bulk.
